Today......I decided to start my own blog. I have been following some beautiful, inspirational, and informative blog spots and thought it would be fun to create our own. This spot will be dedicated to sharing our little slice of heaven, which includes our farm, our hobbies and our family. We called our little slice of heaven Cypress Hill Farm because our roots are deep here, as the roots of cypress trees here in the south. We have 10 quaint acres in southeast Louisiana where we are starting a small heard of grass fed beef. Our goal is to strive to live a simple, sustainable living on our farm where we grow our own vegetables, raise a few chickens for yard eggs, and grow our own beef.
Im glad you stopped by, bare with us, as we are learning the how to's of blogging and building this site. We hope to create an archive of recipes, and tutorials of our hobbies to share with you, along with pictures from the farm.
